Haven't been able to update this blog due to my busy schedule preparing for the event.
It is a public event and will be held as follows:
Date : 15 & 16 May 2010 (main event is on the 15)
Time : 5.00 - 10.00 pm
Venue : Masjid Negara Kuala Lumpur
The event will be graced with the presence of Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah.
The speakers are renowned Islamic scholars from all around the Islamic countries (refer the event poster on the left).
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Sheikh Maulana Afeefuddin Abdul Qader Al Jailani , hails from the prominent Al Gailani family which is a well known family in the Islamic World especially in Iraq. He is the 19th direct descendant of Sultan Al-Auliya (King of Saints) Al Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al Gailani Al Hasani Wal Husseini and the 34th direct descendant of Prophet Muhammad, Sayyidina Rasulullah (Sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam).

About the organizer
Al-Wariseen Trust (“Al-Wariseen”)was established and launched on 28th April 2007 in conjunction with the celebration of Maulidur Rasul of our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. and Maulud of Al-Imam Al Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al Gailani R.A. at Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.
