Condolences... a heap of sadness...

My deepest condolences to my dear colleague and friend Nona for her lost. Her father passed away peacefully at 1.30 am 25th December 2009.

Semoga Allah sentiasa mencucuri rahmat ke atas rohnya. Al-Fatihah.

At time like this.. I am lost for words...

Anyway, 'tis holiday season and the song just pop into my head.(or maybe I am getting old)

Those out there celebrating Xmas, Merry Xmas to y'all. The rest, I'm sure you are enjoying the holiday, like I am.

Wahaha.. cant stop laughing to Irishman Dave Callan's (Live International Stand-up Comedy @ the Zouk) 'mat saleh berbulu' joke.

And owh.. our local Harith Iskandar and Kavin Jayaram (from Klang) are unbelievingly funny!

I believe everyone enjoyed the show especially the buy 1 free 1 drinks deal from the Zouk. Even more, maybe, Celcom's invitees at the free pour pre-show cocktail. When I said free pour, I really mean free pour. All the bootleggers present must have had a darn good time. hahaha... It proves that you don't  have to be an Irish to be crazy about drinks.

All went well except for smart @$$ annoying Mr. 'Gaylord' Jeffry... maybe he's just too stoned not to be a smart @$$ anyway.

Yippeeeee...! I have a free ticket for the Live International Stand-up Comedy show for tonite.

It's been a while since somebody tried to make me laugh.. most of the time I only laugh at my own jokes.. and the only one laughing... hahaha...

For those of you who are interested, the show will be at the Zouk KL for 3 consecutive nites; starting from tonite, 17th Dec to 19th Dec. Tickets.. RM60 and I don't know how you can get them. I got mine for free.. courtesy of Celcom. Thank you kind Sirs..!

3 stand-up comedians who claimed to have mastered the art of making people laugh will be there; Irishman Dave Callan, Aussie James Moffett and a local guy Kavin Jayaram.

Holidayeeeeesssssss....!!!!

Year end holidays are here again! Woohooooooo!!!

For us folks in Malaysia, Friday 18th and 25th December will be off days for the 'Awal Muharram' and Christmas. Then followed by the New Year holiday on the 1st January 2010.

And wow!.. how time flies. A year just went by. It's time again to buck up and think about/ come up with my new year resolution like I have done countless years before. Hey..! It is  'THE'  resolution.. It is an integral part of celebrating the new year ritual. It's like.. no-resolution-no-new-year-for-you thing.  hahaha..

Looking back.. I have lost count of new year resolutions I've made and pledged to myself before. It may take a full team of CSI on double shift to solve all my unsolved resolutions. But.. as I  said, it's a holy yearly ritual. I can't have people asking me the standard 'what's your new year resolution' and have nothing to give. It will be the ultimate 'duhh' of the year'.

I'll think of something, like I always do. I bet my @$$ that you guys are doing the same.

And ohh..! It's time to shoot fabulous fireworks again! i likeeeeeeeee!!!

Wooohooooooooo!!!!!

Melaka walkabout... and around...

Planned a trip to Melaka with the guys and girls on Saturday, Dec 12 09. The simple plan was:  attend a wedding reception at noon, then head straight to Melaka, walk around town a bit then seafood in the evening. Everything will be as smooth as butter.

Well, planning is only 1/100 of the actual thing.

Truth was: Me and my buddy Azlan got lost going to the wedding and ended up touring Putrajaya with another colleague following behind like a blind mouse. haha....

Then off to our holiday gateway Melaka. Everybody assuming that somebody among the 8 of us will lead us to our glorious carefree day vacation there. Well, to describe things more easily, lemme quote this very old saying from old wise men from the earliest of mankind and written in caves all over the world; ASSUME makes an ASS out of U and ME..!

And what a bunch of asses we are!

Round and round we went. From highway to town roads and alley ways. Me and my buddy Azlan on the lead in 1 car, and 6 blind mice trailing behind. And round and round we went (3 blind mice background song).

But hey, how big can Melaka be right? We eventually made our stop at the famous Melaka's A Famosa and seafood in the evening (oh... a few more rounds and rounds we went!)

And thank you guys for the good time! This is what friends are for; lepak, makan and plenty of bad jokes!

Let's do this again some other time (but with better planning please.. hehehe)

Life is beautiful....

Life is never short of beautiful things. Though it may sometimes seem to be filled with ugliness, nothing can change the fact that life is meant to be beautiful. People tend to look too far to see the countless beautiful things around them.
